Hi spliterman, You mad a great comment about today's news item: "Ethanol in gasoline: What impact on cars, consumers?" In my opinion, E-10 reduces the production of poisonous carbon monoxide, but we should never use higher amounts of ethanol in our gasoline. We do need to switch to natural gas. Fuel prices spiked in '08 and then crashed due to us entering the "Great Recession", so they were low when President Obama took office in '09. They started climbing as the economy improved so people blame him for the increase, not fair. We are up drastically since the first of the year (35¢ in 42 days), but we are actually about where we were a year ago. Inflation is at work everywhere, it is part of modern life.
